Instructions: On a plain white piece of paper, draw/sketch your design. Snap a picture of it on your phone (make sure you are looking directly down at the image) and attach the image to your order!
Suggestions to include in design:
- Name / Initials
- Date - birthday, engagement, wedding, etc.
This is meant to mimic initials carved into a tree trunk. Your drawing/sketch in your handwriting will make it incredibly special!

Please note that each wood board is unique and may vary from the one pictured as each piece of wood has its own color and grain variations. I will provide a proof prior to engraving for approval & verification that everything looks correct.
Care: To improve the longevity of your cutting board, it is suggested to not use knives on the side that is engraved. Rather, flip the board over and do your cutting on the opposite side. Periodically condition the board with mineral oil or butcher block conditioner. This helps prevent the wood from becoming too dry, enhances the colors of your board and also gives it some protection. Hand wash only. Do not soak in water, the board can warp or crack.
